Position Description Summary: Responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and measuring all operations within a client-operated warehouse facility. Develop, implement, and measure standard operating processes within the facility. Work from customer business schedules, develop daily schedules, and measure performance against schedules. Oversee safety programs within the warehouse to ensure high customer satisfaction. Principal Accountabilities: Establish and maintain warehouse operational infrastructure. Price all new business associated with the facility. Develop and maintain ISO-level operation guidelines and metrics, including communication to internal and external customers. Develop and monitor productivity standards. Develop and maintain an efficient, cost-effective operations layout. Establish and maintain daily operating schedules. Coordinate daily cycle counts. Manage P&L responsibility for the operation. Develop and maintain an internal training center within the operation. Present facility operations to prospective customers. Ensure a safe working environment at all times, ensuring employee compliance with PPE and safety precautions. Provide customer service to prevent and resolve errors. Hire, train, and manage staff, ensuring performance meets organizational objectives. The individual must be capable of performing all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations. Working Environment: Work on diverse problems requiring analysis of various factors. Exercise judgment within defined procedures and policies. Supervise or assign tasks to employees. Make decisions that impact schedules and operations. Interact regularly with subordinates, customers, and management at various levels. Knowledge and Skills: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required. 5-10 years of supervisory or management experience preferred.
