The Configuration Management Advisor is responsible for establishing and maintaining the configuration management engineering process and baselines, including configuration identification, change control, status accounting, and audits to ensure the performance, quality, and functionality of our client's infrastructure systems. Analyzes changes in product design to determine their effect and prepares necessary documentation for changes. Designs and establishes management documentation. Authorizes the release of drawings and software configuration changes. Develops and maintains software configuration management tools. Performs configuration management and release engineering tasks. Designs, develops, automates, and maintains productivity tools. Designs and implements build procedures. May develop software configuration standards and train developers. Note:
This position is contingent on contract award. Qualifications
Required: Active TS/SCI Clearance with ability to pass CI Poly. 12 years of experience in configuration management, engineering, or equivalent with BS/BA; 10 years with MS/MA; 7 years with PhD. Additional experience may substitute for degree. Preferred: Active TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance. Experience in IT asset baselining and control. ITILv4 Foundation Certification or equivalent. Security Clearance:
Requires an active TS/SCI and the ability to obtain a CI Poly. US Citizenship required. Peraton Overview
