Position Summary:
New Math Data is seeking a Sales Representative with proven experience in cloud services and a strong understanding of the AWS ecosystem. This individual will be responsible for generating new business, managing the end-to-end sales cycle, and working closely with technical teams to deliver tailored solutions to enterprise clients. The ideal candidate is a results-oriented professional who understands both the technical and business value of cloud-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities in target industries
Build and maintain strong client relationships through a consultative sales approach
Qualify leads and manage the full sales lifecycle from initial outreach to contract execution
Collaborate with Solutions Architects and Delivery Leads to design and present service offerings
Align with AWS account teams and leverage AWS co-selling programs
Stay informed on the latest cloud and AI trends, particularly within AWS services and offerings
Maintain accurate records in CRM systems such as Pipedrive
Represent New Math Data at virtual and in-person industry events, conferences, and AWS Partner programs
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales role within a cloud consulting, SaaS, or IT services organization
Demonstrated success in selling AWS-related services or cloud-based solutions
Solid understanding of core AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS
Experience with cloud migration, optimization, and generative AI use cases
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with AWS sales cycles
Background in energy, healthcare, financial services, or education
Familiarity with Databricks, Azure, or multi-cloud strategies
Previous experience working with AWS Partner Network (APN) teams
