Overview
Document/maintain design rules, guidelines, templates, etc. and formalize into a standardized design methodology whose cadence embeds into the existing PDP/D3 process.
Act as product line(s) architect in all design related efforts for product standardization - eg: engineering order manual (EOM) structure, 3D model and 2D drawing structure, bill of material (BOM) standardized structure, etc.
Design Automation and Productivity Establish relationships and close collaboration with the leaders of the Design Automation and Design Operations teams globally.
Contribute to the development of generic, cross-product line tools, templates and data structures that the design automation team will require to execute their strategy.
Provide guidance and recommendations on how to deploy and use standardized design methodology. Support deployment activities and contribute to training activities as needed.
Global Process Change Coordinator Ensure high level of engagement with the design teams in all regions to identify opportunities and create initiatives to improve efficiency.
Provide guidance and support to the Chiller Solutions teams through the change journey.

What We Look For: Required Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
5-10 years' experience and strong familiarity with product businesses, equipment design, documentation and manufacturing of configurable products.
Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience as a designer.
Mastery of Microsoft Office applications.
Travel up to 10-20% (Domestic and International).
Preferred Mastery of Creo 3D Modeling software or equivalent.
Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, MAPICS, AS/400).
Experience with bill of material configurators (eLogia, VC).
