Mid Level Career (5+ yrs experience) No Traveling IT - Software Remote/Hybrid Washington, DC (Off-Site/Hybrid) This is a temporary 2-month assignment with an ASAP need. Must have an active SECRET clearance Years of Experience: 6 -10 years Mindbank Consulting Group has an immediate need for an Oracle Systems Administrator / Oracle Database Administrator (DBA). Systems administrator or a DBA that can apply Oracle STIGS to an Oracle XML database. Applying the Oracle STIGs is what you will be doing. Years of Experience: 6 to 10 years The qualified candidate will apply Defense Information Systems Agency's (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to prevent potential vulnerabilities and ensure alignment with NIST security controls. An initial manual security compliance review of a Government OracleXML database residing on a Windows server has been performed using the DOD STIG Viewer tool. Responsibilities:
Install the STIG Viewer application and load the Oracle STIG benchmarks. Apply identified STIGs to be addressed, ensuring the security requirement is being met by the database. Provide documented evidence of compliance posture and document necessary hardening actions to maintain the system's Authorization-to-Operate (ATO). Perform manual security compliance review of the Government OracleXML database using the DOD STIG Viewer tool to show STIGs have been addressed. Required Skills:
Familiarity of STIG Viewer (and SCAP tool) Strong knowledge of Oracle database. Experience applying Oracle STIGs. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2012 or 2019. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. 6-10 yrs. experience. Secret clearance required to start. Deliverables: Documentation of hardening actions applied.
