Overview
The Loyola Medicine Administrative Fellowship is a one-year, full-time program that provides future health care leaders with unique management and leadership training across the system.
The program promotes learning and application of practical skills in operations, finance and frontline management to prepare fellows for rewarding leadership careers in health care. Fellows also gain exposure to in-depth, high-level strategic planning and other system functions, including human resources, marketing, information technology and revenue cycle.
The Loyola Medicine Administrative Fellowship creates opportunities for fellows to contribute to organization-wide initiatives within a nationally ranked academic health system in the greater Chicago area.

Fellows are offered free membership to the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and the Health Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS). Fellows may obtain a variety of certifications, including: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP), Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR), and Certified Inpatient Coding Auditor (CICA). The fellowship program allows fellows to attend a variety of national conferences, including the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) Congress.
