Job Description About the Role As a Department Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the Sales and Profit goals in the store by executing a plan to deliver the Best Customer Experience in the department and overall store. The Department Supervisor will work in accordance with legal requirements and H&M standards, policies, and procedures to meet the expectations of customers and colleagues. A Day in the Life Working at H&M means no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will include the following responsibilities: Supporting the total OMNI customer experience in your store, ensuring visual and commercial presentation according to global guidelines. Representing yourself and the H&M brand positively during customer interactions. Identifying and acting on commercial opportunities with your Department Manager. Providing excellent customer service and promoting products and initiatives like the Customer Loyalty App and sustainability programs. Managing routines in fitting rooms and checkouts, including transactions, returns, and exchanges. Handling administrative routines for people and operations correctly. Fashion & Trend Awareness Staying updated with fashion trends, styles, brands, competitors, and influencers. Providing product and fashion knowledge during customer interactions. Team & Development Sharing knowledge and skills with the team. Collaborating with the Visual Merchandiser team. Giving and receiving feedback to support development. Communicating regularly to motivate and inform colleagues. Following procedures, routines, and legal requirements. Retail Operations/Visual & Commercial Execution Maintaining a clean and tidy sales floor and stockroom. Ensuring high-quality visual and product presentation. Managing stock levels and providing input on allocation. Overseeing the full garment cycle and fitting room routines. Maintaining in-store tech services and tools. Ensuring consistent and correct price signage. Keeping BOH areas updated and safe. Responsible for opening and closing the store daily. Who You Are An emerging leader who enjoys responsibility.
