Job Summary:
We are seeking a Physician Assistant to join our team! As a Physician Assistant, you will be examining patients, collecting patient medical history, and making tentative diagnoses related to varicose veins in the legs. You will also read ultrasound tests and reports, interpret data, explain test results and diagnoses to patients, and prescribe therapy or medication with physician approval. The ideal candidate will be trained in varicose vein treatments such as radiofrequency ablation and compounded foam injections. We value excellent bedside manner, experience in medical charting, and strong communication skills. Must be willing to travel:
TURLOCK, MERCED, MODESTO, TRACY, STOCKTON, PLEASANTON, HAYWARD, SAN LEANDRO, FREMONT Responsibilities: Examine patients, take detailed medical histories, and document important medical information Read test results, interpret data, and make diagnostic suggestions Explain test results and health outcomes to patients Prescribe medication or therapy under physician supervision Perform varicose vein treatments such as radiofrequency ablation or compounded foam (training provided) Collaborate with nurses, Physician Assistants, and Physicians to develop comprehensive treatment plans Qualifications: Valid state licensing required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience with medical terminology, charting, and diagnostic tests Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
