Were looking for an experienced Dev Ops Engineer to fill this hybrid role based in our Seattle office. In this critical role, youll be responsible for designing, building, deploying, and managing cloud operations to ensure availability, reliability, performance, and security. Heres a summary of what Holland America Line is looking for in its Dev Ops Engineer. Is this you? Responsibilities Support and manage hybrid as well as multi-cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, OCI. Build, lift-shift, and support resources in Cloud infrastructure. Maintain servers and databases. Build automation via scripts and tools. Provide technical support to triage issues and monitor the health of software platforms. Keep infrastructure updated by applying updates and patches, following best practices. Document strategies and practices necessary for deployment and maintenance of applications or infrastructure. Requirements Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent major. Experience in software engineering with design and development skills. Minimum of 2 years experience with relational databases like Oracle. At least 2 years managing Windows and Linux servers. 2+ years working with cloud technologiesdesigning, building, deploying, and managing infrastructure. Expertise with AWS or equivalent services such as IAM, EC2, RDS, VPC, S3, Lambda, CloudTrail, CloudWatch. Deep understanding of Windows and Linux OS, networking concepts like IP, DNS, TCP/IP, SSH, firewalls. Knowledge of Network, Domains, and Active Directory. Familiarity with SSO, SSL, Load balancing, Firewall, Exchange is beneficial. Experience with database technologies like Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake. Proficiency in programming languages such as PowerShell, Python, Windows batch. Hands-on experience with automation, CI/CD, and DevOps tools like Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, Chef. Understanding of data security, access controls, compliance standards (SOX, GDPR, PCI), vulnerability scanning, penetration testing. Excellent collaboration, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Legal authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship not available. Additional Details This is a hybrid position based in Seattle, WA, requiring presence in the office 3 days/week (Tuesday-Thursday).
