Network Engineer
An employer in the Dayton, OH, area is seeking a TS/SCI Network Engineer for a contract to hire opportunity. This position is responsible for all things incorporated into networking which includes switches and configurations of port channels and/or link aggregation, routing protocols, spanning tree protocols, loop detection, IP routing, and VLANs but not limited to. Will be required to sit on site five days/week and have an active TS/SCI Security clearance. Skills and Requirements: Active TS/SCI Security clearance (Will be obtaining a CI Poly) Bachelors Degree or 6 years in lieu of 1+ years of experience in Networking Experience installing, configuring, patching, and supporting network equipment (Switches and/or routers) Ability to troubleshoot (Tier 2/3) and/or investigate faults in a network and determine the root cause of outages Network+ or CCNA certification Masters Degree CND, CEH, Cloud+, GCIH, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, SSCP Experience with DevOps (Kubernetes) Experience with Systems Administration
