DevOps Engineer (TS/SCI w/CI Poly Cleared)
Full-time On-Site in Annapolis Junction, MD Clearance Requirements: Active TS/SCI w/CI Poly Description
As a DevOps engineer, some of your duties will include providing direct support to engineering platforms and microservices used to develop critical applications to modernize how data is leveraged across multiple DoD customers.
Responsibilities
Developing infrastructure, task automation, provision managed services, and leveraging Python, Ansible, and Terraform programming languages. Patching, hardening, and maintaining compliance of RHEL. Installing, configuring, and providing performance support for Kubernetes, Docker, Nifi, and cloud metrics collection tools. Managing CI/CD pipelines to automate building, testing, and deploying code utilizing GitLab. Managing commercial cloud computing platforms (AWS). Communicating and collaborating effectively with other team members, as well as with stakeholders. Requirements
Education & Experience:
9 Years of experience in Software or Systems Engineering/Administration or roles or a highly related field of work with similar scope and responsibilities; A Bachelors degree may be substituted for 4 years of experience and a Masters Degree may be substituted for 6 years of experience. Required:
Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph. Strong PaaS experience. Experience configuring and managing LINUX operating systems. Experience investigating and resolving technical issues. Active Security+ certification or other 8570 Compliant certifications. Experience with Automated infrastructure provisioning and CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and GitLab CI. Experience designing and implementing scalable, fault-tolerant solutions using AWS services including EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, and CloudFormation. Experience deploying and managing containerized applications in Kubernetes clusters using Helm, Kustomize, and custom manifests. Desired
Experience working in an Agile software development environment. Experience using with Jira and Confluence. Experience with DevOps pipeline and optimizing code. Knowledge of scripting languages such as Ruby, Python, and/or Bash. Knowledge of Docker or other container tools. Please Note:
