We’re looking for an experienced developer communications professional to lead our developer-focused PR and external communications efforts. You’ll be part of the Technology & Product Communications team, responsible for driving day-to-day activities to build awareness of the work Arm is doing to enable developers in the age of AI. This work spans all of our key markets, from consumer and mobile technology to infrastructure, automotive and IoT.
Job Overview
This role will play a key part in building and implementing a dedicated communications program targeting the developer communities we need to reach. As the AI compute platform, Arm is at the center of the AI revolution – enabling our ecosystem of more than 22 million developers has never been more important. This role is crucial to engaging this audience in the Arm story, driving dedicated communications activities in support of our developer-focused goals.
Responsibilities
Build and implement our developer-focused external communications strategy, working collaboratively across functions to support their objectives and drive measurable results. Serve as the day-to-day lead on developer communications activities, and the key contact within Technology & Product Communications for developer-focused teams. Create authentic narratives and content that will resonate with the developer community. Target channels include developer news outlets, developer-centric YouTube channels, Discords and OSS forums. Work closely with the developer teams within the business to build and implement external communications plans for key technical achievements and partner news opportunities. Use these to engage media, analysts and influencers covering the developer space. Support speaker and spokesperson activity across the developer team, from senior leadership at the more corporate level to our developer evangelists. Help to shape and amplify grassroots technical narratives. Build and cultivate relationships with key media covering the developer space and the forums and communities developers use to find news.
Required Skills And Experience
Significant experience in the developer space with excellent communication and relationship-building skills Proficient in the cultural and technical nuances of the developer community and comfortable translating between engineering teams and external audiences Proven understanding of software development workflows, dev toolchains (CI/CD, IDEs, SDKs), and modern AI/ML development frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, ONNX) A track record of delivering strong developer-focused PR and communications programs that deliver measurable results Proven track record to work cross-functionally and influence decisions within external communications, product and developer marketing and developer relations teams Able to work proactively in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities to deliver a high standard of work

Salary Range
$153,900-$208,200 per year
