About the job: Senior Engineer The Electronics Hardware team within the Technology and Breakthrough Innovation group is seeking a Senior Engineer with in-depth expertise in analog circuit design, including high-precision analog circuits used in signal conditioning and processing. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Designing high-precision analog circuits for signal conditioning and processing, such as filters, amplifiers, ADCs, DACs, power supplies, and other circuits as needed. Modeling, simulating, testing, and troubleshooting analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power supply circuits. Preparing design specifications based on product requirements, DFMEA, test plans, reports, and documentation to clearly capture design choices and tradeoffs. Researching customer needs and connecting technology to recommend new product ideas. Developing innovative concepts and pitching ideas to stakeholders. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to identify and develop new product concepts. Minimum qualifications include: BSc in Electrical Engineering required; MSc preferred. 10+ years of experience with analog, digital, and power circuits; experience with embedded systems is a plus. Experience with sensor technologies and low-level analog instrumentation in noisy environments. Proficiency in applying precision analog signal chain components on mixed-signal boards, including power and ground distribution, signal routing, and input protection. Knowledge of precision analog signal chain analysis, error budgets, dynamic range, filters, and component tolerances. Understanding of component reliability metrics like FIT and MTBF is preferred. Knowledge of risk assessment, DFM/DFT techniques. Familiarity with transmission lines and RF circuits is a plus. Experience in designing digital and power circuits, high-speed layout, energy storage, motion control, and various power topologies. Experience with high voltage/high power electronics is desirable. Expertise in P-Spice and other modeling tools; mentoring skills are a plus. Working knowledge of MATLAB is preferred. Proficiency with lab instrumentation such as scopes, DMMs, analyzers, and phase meters. Self-motivated, organized, and productive with minimal supervision. Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting to diverse audiences. Relevant experience: 10+ years designing analog, digital, and power circuits with in-depth analog expertise.
