Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team, focusing on analytics to drive informed decision-making across various domains. As a Data Engineer, you will design, implement, and optimize data warehousing solutions that are foundational to our data-driven initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement comprehensive data warehousing activities that enhance our data foundation. Create and launch sophisticated data models and visualizations supporting various product use cases. Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and data scientists to identify and fulfill data needs. Define service level agreements (SLAs) for all data sets within your ownership. Develop and enhance logging frameworks and resolve data issues in collaboration with data infrastructure teams. Establish and implement security models that comply with privacy standards, address data quality, and refine governance practices. Resolve complex data integration challenges using optimal ETL patterns and effective querying from diverse data sources. Optimize pipelines, dashboards, and frameworks to simplify the development of data artifacts. Influence product and cross-functional teams to recognize and leverage data opportunities for impactful outcomes. Engage with varied problems requiring careful analysis and a strategic approach to solution selection. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, etc.) and 5 years of related work experience, or 7 years of equivalent work experience. 5 years of experience with big data and data warehouse ecosystems, custom ETL design, schema design, and dimensional modeling. Proficiency in writing SQL and analyzing data for gaps and deliverables. Experience managing data warehouse plans and proficient in Python. Compensation:
