The City of Seabrook is seeking a passionate and motivated
Community and Economic Development Coordinator

About the Role:
This position plays a key role in Seabrook's growth and vitality. You'll work closely with city leadership, local businesses, developers, and community members to drive business attraction, retention, and expansion efforts. You'll also coordinate public board meetings and support strategic initiatives that enhance quality of life in Seabrook.
What You'll Do: Develop and implement economic development strategies and marketing campaigns Support new and existing businesses with resources, incentives, and site selection assistance Track and ensure compliance with EDC agreements and incentive programs Coordinate and staff EDC, Planning & Zoning, and Board of Adjustment meetings Maintain commercial property databases and respond to public inquiries Plan community events and represent Seabrook at trade shows and outreach activities
What We're Looking For: Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Economic Development, Business, or related field At least two years of experience in public administration or economic development Strong communication, organizational, and research skills Tech-savvy with a creative eye for marketing, photography, and basic video editing Ability to work collaboratively and independently while managing multiple priorities A valid Texas driver's license
Bonus Skills: Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CivicPlus, and/or GIS Drone operation experience Familiarity with the Texas Public Information Act and local government processes
