As a Senior Electrical Engineer at AVF, you will lead complex electrical design projects from concept to production, ensuring technical excellence in power systems, motion control, and regulatory compliance. You will play a pivotal role in mentoring engineers, driving best practices in electrical design, and supporting innovative products across multiple automation platforms. What you’ll do: Lead electrical engineering projects, including system architecture, design, testing, and validation. Select, integrate and validate high-performance servo motor drivers and brushless motor speed controllers. Design and optimize power distribution systems and umbilical cables. Oversee system design to ensure meeting electrical product performance requirements. Mentor junior electrical engineers and manage outsource partnerships. Ensure designs meet regulatory compliance, EMC requirements, and quality standards. Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, software, and systems engineering teams. Drive continuous improvement in reliability, manufacturability, and cost reduction efforts. Develop technical documentation and participate in design reviews. What we’re looking for: 10+ years in electrical engineering, specializing in analog circuit design, power electronics, and embedded systems. Demonstrated expertise in motor control, and analog circuitry. Strong knowledge of regulatory standards, EMC compliance, and approval cycles. Hands-on experience in product development from prototyping to production, particularly within robotics, industrial automation, drones, or related fields. Proven ability to mentor and lead technical teams. Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field; Master’s preferred. Preferred technical skills: Extensive experience with analog circuits, power factor correction (PFC), full-bridge converters, and EMI filtering. Skilled in PCB layout optimization for EMC and thermal performance. Proficiency with circuit simulation tools and test equipment for validation and troubleshooting. Familiarity with FPGA/MCU integration, motion control systems, and sensor integration.
