What You Will Be Doing
Training and developing Guides to run Alpha's workshops with world-class excellence Creating Guide Playbooks detailing best practices for facilitation, designing rewarding learning activities, and navigating challenges Providing regular, actionable feedback to Guides to amplify student engagement and achievement Directly mentoring a small cohort of students, modeling expert coaching and motivation strategies
What You Won’t Be Doing
Writing lesson plans – your Guides facilitate students' learning through adaptive apps; your focus is on training them to be exceptional motivators Lowering standards – if our passing grade is 100%, it's your job to maintain that bar Delivering boring training – you'll coach Guides through engaging, high-energy, hands-on development

Coach Guides and students so every learner in your cohort loves school, learns at 2× speed, and masters life skills. No compromises.
Basic Requirements
Located in or willing to relocate to work in-person at one of these campuses: Orange County, CA; San Francisco, CA; Washington, D.C.; or Raleigh, NC Possess a Bachelor's degree in any field. At least 5 years of experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or a related field. Demonstrated experience developing and implementing innovative educational programs, curricula, or training initiatives. Strong leadership and mentorship skills with the ability to build, manage, and motivate high-performing teams. Experience working with youth (ages 5-18) in an educational or developmental capacity. Proficiency in data analysis and using metrics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement. Legally authorized to work in the United States

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
