Our lighter-than-air high-altitude platform systems (LTA HAPS) are capable of maintaining position over an operational area in the stratosphere (altitudes of 18 - 21km). They can carry multiple telecommunications, imaging and remote sensing payloads, providing unique functionality, cost, environmental and societal advantages.
Our HAPS be deployed in a matter of days and at a fraction of the cost of traditional infrastructure solutions. This makes them an ideal solution for providing telecommunications connectivity, emergency solutions in the event of natural or other disasters, environmental and infrastructure monitoring, Earth observation and a range of defense applications.

Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented
Quality Engineer
to join our team. As a key member of the engineering department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our products and services. You will be responsible for implementing quality control processes, identifying opportunities for improvements, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all products meet or exceed industry standards.
What You'll Do:
Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes, ensuring products and services meet customer and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and design teams to review product specifications and provide input on quality standards. Conduct inspections, tests, and audits on raw materials, in-process products, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications. Manage and execute corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) in response to non-conformances and customer feedback. Use statistical methods to analyze data, identify trends, and recommend improvements in product quality and manufacturing processes. Maintain documentation for quality processes, inspection results, and corrective actions. Support product lifecycle quality assurance, including design, development, testing, and manufacturing. Train and mentor team members on quality standards and best practices. Ensure compliance with relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or related field. 3+ years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in aerospace, manufacturing, or a similar technical field. Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and industry standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar. Proficiency with test automation tools, e.g. scripting (e.g. Python), LabView Experience of with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and software-in-the-loop (SIL) testing Strong understanding of inspection, testing, and auditing techniques. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to drive process improvements. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action processes. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Nice to Have:
Experience in aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated industries. Knowledge of product lifecycle management and design control. Familiarity with risk management and failure mode analysis (FMEA). What We Offer:
