Base pay range
$140,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Ant International We are seeking a dynamic and strategic HR Business Partner & Talent Acquisition Lead to join our growing team in Sunnyvale. This hybrid role is between HR Business Partnering and Talent Acquisition, supporting our North American operations while collaborating closely with global teams, particularly across Asia Pacific. As our first HR hire in North America, you’ll play a critical role in shaping and scaling our people strategies in a fast-paced, less structured startup environment. You’ll work closely with business leaders, managers, and the global People team to deliver impactful HR solutions that drive engagement, performance, and growth. Key Responsibilities Human Resources Business Partner Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing guidance on organizational effectiveness, employee relations, performance management, and employee engagement. Coach and support managers on people-related matters to build leadership capability and drive high-performing teams. Champion and localize HR programs and initiatives, including onboarding, learning and development, compensation reviews, and culture-building efforts. Analyze trends and metrics to inform data-driven decision-making and proactively identify areas for improvement. Partner with APAC-based HR colleagues to ensure seamless global alignment while tailoring solutions for the North America context. Maintain compliance with local labor laws and best practices. Talent Acquisition Manage end-to-end recruitment for roles in the US and North America, partnering with hiring managers to define needs, source candidates, conduct interviews, and drive a positive candidate experience. Build and manage a pipeline of top talent through direct sourcing, networking, and collaboration with external partners where needed. Support employer branding efforts to increase awareness and attractiveness in the local market. Implement and maintain recruiting tools and systems in alignment with global TA processes Requirements 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with demonstrated success in both HR business partnering and recruiting roles. Experience supporting technology or high-growth startup environments strongly preferred. Strong business acumen and ability to build credibility and relationships with senior leaders. Proven ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. Exceptional communication skills and cultural sensitivity—experience working with stakeholders across different time zones, especially in Asia Pacific. Solid understanding of US labor laws, HR compliance requirements, and recruiting best practices. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field (Master’s degree or HR certification a plus). Hybrid model: Minimum 3 days per week onsite in our Sunnyvale office. Flexibility to collaborate with APAC-based colleagues during early morning or evening hours as needed. Seniority level
