The Technical Business Analyst serves as a key member of a dynamic team that supports the College's Enterprise Resource Planning/Student Information System (ERP/SIS), Colleague (Ellucian), and manages technical projects that advance important administrative and academic functions. Working with stakeholders, this individual would identify and facilitate creative, data-centric solutions to improve and efficiently sustain critical business processes. The selected individual will report to the Director of Administrative Information Systems. Employment Type: Full-time (1.0 FTE), Exempt (Salaried), Benefits-Eligible Salary Range: $56,000-63,000 Main Responsibilities: Use Business Process Improvement (BPI) methodologies to analyze current system processes, and make recommendations on leveraging technology for improved business process efficiency and security. Generate and optimize reports using Entrinsik Informer and other tools to empower decision-making across various departments. Provide technical support and training for the College's primary ERP/SIS, Ellucian Colleague, and ancillary systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and security. Contribute to the documentation of system configurations, processes, and user guides. Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and updates related to ERP/SIS systems and reporting tools. All other duties as assigned. Prerequisites: Desired Attributes, Skills, and Expertise: Proven experience with Ellucian Colleague and/or familiarity with higher education ERP/SIS systems. Demonstrated familiarity with database systems and query languages. General familiarity with UNIX and Windows operating systems. Prior experience with multi-valued databases, Unidata, Ellucian Colleague, Entrinsik Informer, Scripting Languages, Web Development, or SQL. Positive attitude and dedication to delivering exceptional customer-oriented results. Strong communication skills, written and verbal, performed in small group settings and via email, chat, etc. Ability to work independently in diagnosing problems and providing solutions to difficult problems in a complex environment.
