Overview
will be responsible for participating in a team of engineers developing software for EE/core and powertrain control modules. The Engineer will implement RTE configurations, generate RTE files, and develop SW Variant management strategies for engine, transmission, electrification, and hybrid projects following AUTOSAR Architecture. Additionally, the Engineer will handle multi-core runnable mapping, SW component partitioning for efficient embedded resource utilization, and SWC allocation based on Functional Safety ratings. The role also includes developing Software Architecture for propulsion system functions and establishing guidelines for Application and BSW layer SW development. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering or related field Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded C/C++ with Vector/ETAS/AUTOSAR Basic Software configuration, including modules like RTE, OS, COM, MCAL, IOHWAB, NVM, WDG, DCM, DEM Experience with SW component ARXML files using AUTOSAR authoring tools such as dSPACE SystemDesk, ETAS iSolar, Vector Davinci Developer Experience with multi-core microprocessors and multi-core OS Experience with compilers, emulators (Lauterbach), debuggers, and automation scripting Experience in software verification/validation, including white box, black box, and gray box testing Familiarity with automotive software standards like MISRA-C Ability to adapt to changing environments with minimal impact on productivity Strong verbal and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Engineering, such as in Formula SAE or SAE EcoCar Experience with Electrobit TRE S/S Studio, Vector MICROSAR, ETAS iSolar Tools Experience using data acquisition tools like ETAS INCA, CANoe, CANalyzer Strong understanding of internal combustion engines, hybrid, battery electric, and vehicle subsystems Experience working in multidisciplinary teams Experience with simulation/virtual methodologies and tools
