Located near Lake Michigan-30 min to Milwaukee, 90 min to Chicago Strong Compensation Package: Minimum base salary of $175,000 , with top-of-market
25% production $30,000-50,000 annual leadership stipend
based on prior experience $25,000 signing bonus Relocation assistance available Your Role
As Medical Director, you'll balance clinical practice with leadership responsibilities, acting as both a role model on the floor and a strategic partner behind the scenes.
You will:
Deliver high-quality, compassionate emergency care (~75% clinical) Oversee medical standards, protocols, and quality initiatives Lead, mentor, and support our ER doctor team Partner with the Hospital Director to shape operations, recruitment, and long-term planning Foster team collaboration and a culture of accountability, growth, and trust Strengthen relationships with referring veterinarians and the local community Collaborate with Ethos Veterinary Health to access leadership development, clinical education, and research opportunities What We're Looking For
DVM or equivalent and eligibility for a Wisconsin veterinary license Emergency medicine experience Minimum 2-5 years of leadership experience A passion for mentorship and driving medical excellence Strong communication and collaboration skills Confidence in making decisions and solving complex problems A solutions-focused, adaptable leadership style What You'll Get & Where You'll Work
