Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality & Engineering Manager to join our team. The Quality & Engineering Manager will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our products and services, while also managing our quality control processes and implementing quality assurance measures to prevent defects and ensure compliance with industry standards. This role requires a strong understanding of quality control principles and practices, as well as experience with quality management systems such as ISO 9001 . Experience with FARO and Solidoworks preferred.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
Conduct quality audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement
Collaborate with production teams to ensure products meet quality and safety standards
Manage the quality control process, including testing, inspection, and documentation
Identify and document any nonconforming products or processes and implement corrective actions
Ensure all quality control processes are documented and controlled
Implement and maintain quality control records and reports
Conduct quality control training for production staff
Develop and implement quality control procedures to prevent defects and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Perform quality control tests and inspections on products and processes
Implement and maintain a quality control management system that is ISO 9001 compliant
Collaborate with management to ensure quality control processes align with project goals and timelines
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance
Knowledge of quality control principles and practices
Experience with quality management systems such as ISO 9001.
Experience with quality control processes and procedures
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate effectively with production staff and other stakeholders
Experience with project management principles and practices
Experience with quality audits and inspections
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Experience with fabricating and manufacturing processes
Experience with quality control software and tools
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain records and reports accurately
Pay: starting at $90k annually
