Knowledge,AbilitiesandSkills Proficiency writing complex Structured Query Language (SQL) queries in both Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server. Proficiency with data analysis theory and techniques, including logical and physical database design. Proficiency with desktop computers utilizing Microsoft Windows. Advanced query tuning and performance optimization experience. Proficient in scripting and automation with interfaces and languages such as Microsoft PowerShell, PL/SQL, and Transact-SQL (T-SQL). Applications development experience in client/server computer environment preferred. Proficiency creating database objects such as tables, constraints, views, procedures, functions, and packages in Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server. Strong troubleshooting and incident response skills in enterprise environments. WorkingConditions Standardofficeenvironment. Five years of experience as a Database Administrator, of which two years must have been in and Oracle version release in the past ten years, and two years must have been in database design or database programming and development, all within an enterprise environment. AND Bachelor's degree with either the major or minor in computer science or related field , e.g. MIS, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, STEM. OR Four years of additional equivalent experience may be substituted for the required degree.
