Job Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for leading enterprise projects by collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable IT solutions. This role involves managing the full project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timely delivery, and stakeholder satisfaction. The Project Manager serves as a key liaison between enterprise stakeholders and IT teams, facilitating clear communication and effective execution.
Key Responsibilities
Stakeholder Engagement: Meet with enterprise stakeholders to gather, clarify, and prioritize business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Requirement Translation: Work closely with IT teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring feasibility and clarity. Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. Project Execution: Lead cross-functional teams, including business and IT members, to execute projects on time, within scope, and on budget. Communication: Facilitate regular meetings, status updates, and presentations to keep stakeholders informed and aligned throughout the project lifecycle. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues to minimize disruptions. Change Management: Manage scope changes, ensuring proper documentation, stakeholder approval, and alignment with project goals. Quality Assurance: Oversee testing and validation processes to ensure IT solutions meet business requirements and quality standards. Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including charters, schedules, status reports, and post-project evaluations. Team Leadership: Motivate and guide project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability to achieve project objectives. Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field. Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus. Experience: 5+ years of project management experience, with a proven track record of managing enterprise-level projects involving business and IT collaboration. Technical Skills:
Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, Asana, or similar platforms. Basic understanding of IT systems, software development lifecycles (SDLC), and enterprise technologies (e.g., ERP, CRM). Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies. Soft Skills:
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders, from executives to technical teams. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing requirements. Certifications: PMP, CAPM, Agile (Scrum Master, SAFe), or similar certifications preferred.
Work Environment
Dynamic, cross-functional environment collaborating with enterprise stakeholders (e.g., C-suite, department heads) and IT teams. Hybrid work model with a mix of in-office and remote work, based on project and stakeholder needs. Occasional travel may be required for stakeholder meetings or project-related activities.
