Java/MuleSoft Developer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Java/MuleSoft Developer with our client in the financial industry located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities include: Designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and Spring boot technologies Designing, developing, testing, supporting, and deploying custom Web API applications Ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and organizational security policies Implementing security best practices across MuleSoft and Java applications Developing and implementing integration strategies using MuleSoft to enhance operational efficiency Contributing to initiatives aimed at optimizing application performance and scalability Engaging in continuous improvement efforts by sharing insights on enhancing workflows and processes Creating software documentation and updating existing documentation Implementing best practices, standards, and procedures including quality and delivery methodologies Ensuring compliance with documented software processes throughout the life cycle of existing and new software products Responsible for developing clean and progressively enhanced code for complex enterprise applications Requirements: 2+ years of API development experience with MuleSoft 5+ years of middle tier development - Webservices, Spring boot, REST 3+ years of backend database development - Oracle preferred Deep understanding of API design, data integration, and enterprise application architecture Experience in using SDM tools - JIRA, Jenkins, BitBucket, etc. Very strong communication skills, and ability to interact with senior technology management Broad knowledge of Information Security technologies, techniques, and processes Desired skills: An individual of high integrity, energy, and optimism who is self-directed and motivated Financial sector experience An individual with excellent communication skills, both oral and written; a person who is articulate and a good presenter of ideas A good listener; a person who seeks input and involves others in his/her communications; a person who values and cultivates relationships Demonstrated ability to get things done and make things happen; a person who is resourceful, seizes opportunities, and is an innovator An entrepreneurial individual who is not afraid to challenge; a person who is creative and can think "outside the box" Wants to contribute to the organization and is results oriented Pay range: $58.26 - $66.26 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
