Entry Level Financial Analyst
This position is part of the Securities Administration Services group, where you will be responsible for processing the most complex transactions or reconcilements related to loan or security payments. You will provide remittance and correction information to servicers, monitor and analyze pooled loans for non-compliance, and communicate findings to investors. Additionally, you will evaluate servicer performance to ensure compliance with agreements and participate in system enhancements, user group meetings, and testing. A working knowledge of Collateral, Securities, Default, or Trust Administration is essential. Responsibilities
Process complex transactions or reconcilements related to loan or security payments. Provide remittance and correction information to servicers. Monitor and analyze pooled loans for non-compliance and communicate findings to investors. Evaluate servicer performance to ensure compliance with agreements. Participate in system enhancements, user group meetings, and testing. Maintain working knowledge of Collateral, Securities, Default, or Trust Administration. Train junior staff and review their processing and reconciliations. Propose recommendations and implement automated solutions. Essential Skills
Strong business analysis skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and V Look Up. Experience in finance and data analysis. Bachelor's degree in Math, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Business, or related field. Preferably 1+ year in Financial Services, including internship experience. Ability to research and interpret controlling legal documents. Experience with pooled loan data from various mortgage servicers. Work Environment
The work environment is extremely team-oriented and deadline-driven, requiring analyses to be completed at specific times during the month, which may necessitate overtime. The role offers growth opportunities within the organization and remote flexibility, except during large conferences or team meetings held in Columbia, MD. The schedule is hybrid, with some training and monthly large team meetings conducted on-site. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
