At Azura Memory Care and Assisted Living in Brookfield, WI , we're looking for a Full-Time Maintenance Technician to be the backbone of our memory care community. What You'll Do:
As our Maintenance Technician, you'll ensure our facility remains a welcoming and secure home for residents with memory challenges. Your role will include:
- Keeping It Safe: Perform routine maintenance tasks like plumbing, electrical repairs, HVAC checks, and equipment upkeep to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Fixing What's Broken: Respond promptly to repair requests, from fixing a leaky faucet to troubleshooting heating issues, with care and efficiency.
- Enhancing Comfort: Assist with room setups, furniture assembly, and minor renovations to keep our spaces functional and inviting.
- Staying Proactive: Conduct regular inspections, manage inventory of supplies, and recommend improvements to keep our community in top shape.
- A skilled technician with experience in general maintenance (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or HVAC)-formal training or certification is a plus but not required.
- A dependable team member who thrives on solving problems and takes pride in a job well done.
- Comfortable working independently and collaborating with staff to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Physically able to lift equipment, climb ladders, and handle tools safely.
- Familiar with safety protocols and regulations (experience in healthcare settings is a bonus!).
