As an Entry Level Event Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of various events, from corporate gatherings to social celebrations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the planning and execution of various events, including corporate meetings, weddings, and community activities. Coordinate logistics such as venue selection, catering, transportation, and equipment rentals. Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences for each event. Help manage event budgets by tracking expenses and processing invoices. Support the marketing and promotion of events through social media and other channels. Research and establish relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality services.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Marketing, or a related field preferred. Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple events simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client and team interactions. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by events. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with event management software. A creative mindset with a passion for problem-solving and innovation. Seniority level
