Job Title: Senior Software Developer Job Details Description IndraSoft, Inc. is seeking a Lead Software Developer, with an Active Secret Security Clearance (TS preferred), to support our program in Columbia, Maryland. The Senior Software Developer will design, develop, and unit test JavaScript/Ajax/Java applications. The candidate should have strong knowledge and experience in JavaScript/Ajax, with desired skills in Java, Spring Boot, and Oracle. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Bachelor's Degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent experience. 8+ years of experience in JavaScript/JSP/Ajax coding. Understanding of software development, design, and formal specifications. Ability to design software tools and subsystems supporting reuse and domain analysis. Knowledge of distributed software systems. Strong web application fundamentals and documentation skills. Excellent communication skills. Security/Certification Requirements Active Secret Security Clearance - Top Secret preferred. Qualifications Desired Experience in a government setting. Experience with Agile, DevSecOps pipelines, GIT, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket. Background in at least four of the following: JAVA, Spring Boot, Oracle, Hibernate, Tomcat, Remedy, PKI, Linux, Bootstrap, SQL, PL-SQL, XML, PDF, Microsoft products, IntelliJ. Security+ Certification. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain tools. Analyze complex system requirements. Design reusable software tools and subsystems. Manage software development using formal specifications and CASE tools. Estimate development costs and schedules. Review and refine existing programs. Supervise configuration management. Create complex web applications using JavaScript, Ajax, JSP, Java, Spring Boot. Support business analysis and process definition. Write efficient, well-designed code. Evaluate code for standards and compatibility. Research new web technologies. Collaborate with program managers and teams. Maintain knowledge of development tools and techniques. Physical Demands and Work Environment Office environment, long periods on computer, ability to lift up to 20 pounds, moderate noise level.
