Position Summary
The Epic Application Analyst Pharm - Willow Inpatient is responsible for implementation, maintenance and support of the Epic Willow - Inpatient and Willow - Inventory applications. This role will collaborate with operational leaders, end users, vendors and IT personnel to ensure implementation, maintenance and support meet organizational and regulatory standards while ensuring optimized patient care and safety.
Qualifications:
License/Certification/Registration:
*Licensed Pharmacist required
*Required: Epic Certified in Willow Inpatient & Preferred: Epic Certified in Willow Inventory
Education:
*BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited (ACPE) college/school of pharmacy OR having passed the Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Examination (FPGEE) and become certified by the Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Commission (FPGEC)
Experience:
*Minimum of 2 years clinical experience.
*Minimum of 2 years application development and support experience.
*Inpatient and retail pharmacy experience preferred.
*Pharmacists with experience in pediatric pharmacy is preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
*Understanding of the various clinical pharmacy process flows, clinical practices and procedures.
*Practical experience with healthcare and/or pharmacy software applications and ability to manipulate data with standard tools.
*Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare and/or pharmacy software applications.
*Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, pharmacists and various other hospital staff.
*Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing with all levels of associates and management.
*Ability to effectively converse with individuals of different levels of business and technical knowledge.
*Knowledge of analytical processes and problem-solving skills.
*Ability to evaluate business user needs against current system capabilities.
*Ability to accurately and effectively translate business requirements into high-level system specifications.
*Familiarity in the use of Microsoft Window products (Word, Excel, Access and Project) or equivalent.
*Aptitude for learning new software tools and products.
*Familiarity with the software development lifecycle.
*Leadership, planning, estimating, and organizational skills.
*Ability to lead and facilitate meetings and manage sub-projects.
*Proficiency with Project Management tools or methods.
The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. When determining individual pay rates, we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, internal equity and organizational needs.
In addition to your salary, this position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night, weekend or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
