The Event Services Representative shall serve The Navigators and fulfill the responsibilities listed below in the spirit of The Navigators calling, values and purpose: To advance the Gospel of Jesus and His kingdom into the nations through spiritual generations of laborers living and discipling among the lost.
This position aims to deliver an organized, clean, and distraction-free environment to everyone on the Glen Eyrie through maintaining professional standards of cleanliness and appearance in public areas.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Physically set up meeting rooms, including chairs, tables and other equipment. Delivering mail to all buildings, Remove trash throughout Glen Eyrie property Other duties as assigned relating to taking care of the guests, e.g. helping with luggage, delivering boxes, helping guests with setup of their meetings, etc.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Belief in and adherence to the Statement of Faith and Mission of The Navigators. Must be able to maintain continuous manual labor, such as: kneeling, bending over, and lifting for extended periods of time (up to 80 lbs). Must have a valid Driver's License. Weekend availability is essential. Customer service oriented; friendly, responsible and able to work well with people, deadlines and a busy schedule.
Compensation Range: $15.75-17.50/hour
