Job Description The Commercial discipline is responsible for driving business growth, managing partnerships, and providing industry subject matter expertise and advisory to both clients and internal teams. This strategic and consultative team creates meaningful relationships with clients through their combined knowledge of IT services and industry trends and pain points.
As a Sr. Business Development Manager at Endava, you will identify new clients, introduce them to our capabilities and IT services, and guide them through the entire sales cycle, offering solutions that facilitate enterprise transformation of their IT environment. Responsibilities: Serve as the trusted advisor selling IT Professional Services to potential clients to showcase our capability and build long-standing relationships. Identify potential target clients through lead generation strategies, cold calling, networking, referrals, and online research. Execute an end-to-end client sales cycle from acquisition to closing deals and driving revenue growth. Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads and prospects aligned with sales goals. Negotiate, manage, and close strategic new business deals. Achieve and exceed sales targets, consistently delivering revenue goals. Apply deep industry knowledge to become the Subject Matter Expert on technological challenges within your vertical. Grow your book-of-business, drive revenue, and achieve uncapped commissions in our model. Participate in speaking events, workshops, panels, and conferences to share your expertise. Qualifications: 10+ years in new business development, selling offshore/nearshore IT Professional Services. Experience within the Banking industry, with understanding of technological trends and challenges. Proven success in leading new business initiatives for large enterprise clients. Hunter sales experience including prospecting, cold calling, qualifying, presenting, negotiating, and closing. Ability to engage VP decision-makers by identifying industry pain points. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, with a track record of exceeding quotas. Experience in preparing and presenting proposals, business cases, and SOWs. Additional Requirements: Travel locally, nationally, and internationally as needed, with valid passport/driver's license. Occasional lifting of 25 pounds for trade shows or live events.
