We are seeking a dedicated and versatile individual to join our team as a School Break Programming Coordinator. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the planning and coordination of school break programming. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working closely with the ELOP Program Manager(s) and the school site Aftercare Director, assisting in curriculum planning, providing outreach to families, and offering administrative support to ensure the success of our school break programs. Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Coordination: - Collaborate with the Aftercare Director to plan and coordinate academic and enrichment curricula for school break programs. - Assist in developing engaging and age-appropriate activities that align with educational goals. Outreach and Communication: - Serve as a point of contact for families, providing information about school break programs, schedules, and activities. - Develop and implement outreach strategies to increase program participation. - Maintain regular communication with parents to address inquiries and provide updates. Administrative Support: - Provide administrative assistance to the Aftercare Director in organizing and managing program logistics. - Assist in maintaining accurate records, including participant registrations, attendance, and emergency contact information. - Help with budget tracking, supply inventory, and procurement of program materials. Event Coordination: - Support the planning and execution of special events or activities during school break programs. - Coordinate logistics, such as transportation, catering, and venue setup, to ensure smooth operations. Team Collaboration: - Work closely with program staff and instructors to ensure effective implementation of planned activities. - Foster a positive and collaborative atmosphere among staff and participants. Qualifications
- Preferred, minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching or academic coaching. - Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and instructional design. - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Knowledge of and commitment to maintaining appropriate instructor-to-student ratios.
