As a Founding School Leader with Phalen Leadership Academies, this position requires an entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to building our school from the ground up. The Founding Principal will play a key role in all the elements involved in a new school launch and hold primary responsibility for the strategic implementation and management of all aspects of our school performance and operations. Starting Salary - $110,000. Essential Job Tasks
Responsible for working within the community to attain budgeted scholar enrollment and to maintain 90% of enrolled scholars throughout the school year Implement and oversee the daily execution of PLAs Academic Model Responsible for staffing your building with high quality educators that align with PLA's passion and commitment to the success of our scholars Support the school instructional staff in utilizing data-driven strategies to analyze student performance and guide instructional adjustments and required interventions Responsible for coaching your team and retaining a minimum of 90% of your effective and highly effective educators year after year Develop and implement a strong positive campus culture that includes operational systems that support student success and a culture that supports the academic, emotional, cultural, and overall well-being of our scholars, staff, and families ensuring holistic support Other duties as assigned Experience and Education Requirements
Master's degree from an accredited college or university Valid state administrator's license Demonstrated success significantly increasing school proficiency data Experience in turnaround work PLA is a transformative education nonprofit changing communities across the country by providing a depth of resources not found in the traditional education model.
