Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist in cardiothoracic surgical procedures
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care
- Manage patient care in collaboration with the cardiothoracic surgery team
- Participate in the on-call rotation for emergency surgeries and patient care
- Maintain detailed patient records using Epic EMR
Additional Information
- Required Board Certification: Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Must hold a valid Virginia PA license
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Demonstrated experience as a first assist in cardiothoracic surgery preferred
