Overview
As a body shop technician, you will be responsible for preparing damaged vehicles repaired by the body shop for painting.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Quality inspects body repair work Mask for overspray Prep repaired areas for primer Spray primer on all repaired areas Block-sand primed areas Prep new parts panels for blend Repair scratches, chips prior to painting Buff re-finished product Must comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the company's values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and vendors Maintain a clean work area Other duties assigned by management Benefits:
