We are looking for a creative and analytical Sr. Product Manager to lead initiatives to grow our FBA Selection across our Hardlines, Softlines and Consumables businesses, and to improve CX and SX. In this role, you will:
• Drive the development and expansion of a unique customer and selling experience.
• Expand FBA's fulfillment capabilities to support new business opportunities.
• Enhance FBA service offerings to improve speed, cost and profitability
• Collaborate extensively with global operations, business, and technical teams to define, prioritize, and deliver new FBA features and services.
Key job responsibilities
• Drive new Selection growth initiatives for established and underpenetrated segments, partnering with stakeholders from Business, Finance and Ops.
• Find opportunities to grow, scale, and improve existing FBA programs, launch new products, and successfully measure outcomes
• Drive alignment with senior leaders and key cross-functional partners
• Identify automation opportunities to scale SX services and tools – design processes and procedures that scale with the business’ growth in volume
• Set delivery/completion dates of program milestones and establish a regular review cadence to report on the state and impact of your initiatives according to established goals
• Utilize metrics to deep-dive into issues and uncover business-driving trends and patterns. Set-up mechanisms to audit and perform necessary course corrections where needed to meet business objectives
• Partner closely with other program/product managers, category teams, operations associates and tech leads to deliver on your roadmap
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years total experience in strategic planning and project management
- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving business performance
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to work successfully with teams across organization and global teams
- Demonstrated skills in managing complex processes with multiple business owners, making trade-offs against business priorities
- Strong quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and opinions
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Japanese – business level / English – business level including verbal and written communications.
- Bachelor's degree required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in e-Commerce, Supply Chain, Consulting, or Finance
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Logistics / Supply Chain / Mathematics / Science / Engineering
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
