Job Overview: The Senior Human Resources Generalist Admin is responsible for working with various groups and departments to address their HR needs. The role requires producing creative solutions to complex problems and effective communication across all employee levels. This position is a Business Support role focused on providing HR support directly to employees and management within a specific location or region. The role reports to the local Human Resources Manager or Supervisor and interacts routinely with employees and managers in different functions. Qualifications Essential Qualifications and Education: Business presence and polish Knowledge of CB&I products and markets Proactive problem-solving skills Strong analytical skills Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines Negotiation skills with high emotional intelligence Business partnering skills to influence the organization Adaptability and agility in complex environments Drive to achieve results with business and technical acumen Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to build credibility across all levels, including senior management Support for the company’s values, culture, diversity, inclusion, and safety Experience and Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent 3-5 years of administrative experience, with at least 2 years in HR admin Experience in project site or construction craft HR preferred Excellent communication skills Ability to build good relationships Experience in delivering training programs preferred Proficiency in HRIS databases and MS Office SHRM or other HR certification preferred Ability to complete pre-employment requirements such as background checks, drug screens, and driving records #LI-DNI #LI-CA1 Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Respond to HR/policy questions and assist with problem resolution Support management on employee relations issues, including terminations and investigations Engage in tasks and projects for growth and experience Monitor legal compliance and conduct investigations as needed Understand business issues and develop strategic solutions Support office, field personnel, and remote project sites Handle leaves of absence, recruitment, exit interviews, data entry, and onboarding Perform other duties as assigned
