Job Summary : To provide assistance within the growing division of Digital Pathology.
Essential job functions: Ensures glass slides are dry, clean, and cover slipped. Inspects glass slides for cracks, air bubbles, coverslip and label placement. Loads and unloads racks of slides on Digital Scanners. Sorts and organizes glass slides for storage. Locates and retrieves glass slides upon request.
Required Education/Experience:
No experience required.
Equipment:
Standard clinical laboratory and office equipment.
Working Environment:
Standard hospital, clinical, laboratory and/or office environments. Position may require extended periods of standing and walking, bending and stooping. Located on the UTMB Galveston campus within the Clinical Services Wing.
Work Schedule:
Flexible work hours in 3-4 hour blocks between 06:00-20:00, Monday-Friday.
