Forklift Operator Position
To be considered you must have:
6+ months of verifiable experience within the last 2 years on specified forklift
We are currently hiring for 1st & 3rd shift Forklift Operators for a cold storage distribution facility in Murfreesboro, TN. These positions are temp-to hire with good attendance and production. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of forklift experience. Must be able to provide a certification or verifiable reference.

Forklift Operator compensation and hours:
- $21 - $24 an hour depending on shift
- Additional $2 Attendance Stimulus Bonus!
- Day Shift 1: 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Sunday to Wednesday)
- Day Shift 2: 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Wednesday to Saturday)
- Night Shift 1: 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. (Sunday to Wednesday)
- Night Shift 2: 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. (Wednesday to Saturday)
Forklift Operator skills and qualifications:
- 1 year of experience operating forklifts (sit down and stand up)
- Ability to work in freezer environment
Forklift Operator duties and responsibilities:
- Safely operate a forklift to move, stack, and load goods within a cold storage facility, ensuring proper handling of products in low-temperature environments.
- Assist with inventory control by accurately recording and tracking the movement of goods. Ensure that items are stored in the correct locations and maintain accurate records of inventory levels.
- Load and unload goods from trucks or containers, making sure to handle products carefully to prevent damage and maintain temperature integrity.
- Regularly check and monitor the temperature of storage areas to ensure that it remains within required ranges. Report any temperature deviations or malfunctions in refrigeration systems.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following guidelines for operating in cold environments.
- Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on the forklift to ensure it is in good working condition. Report any mechanical issues or malfunctions to the maintenance team.
