Description
Responsibilities include: Lead high-profile Foundation Model programs, responsible for roadmapping, establishing goals with DRIs, and reporting statuses to executives regularly and succinctly. Drive consensus across multiple groups with varying opinions and needs. Influence teams around a common purpose and drive conference on the plan of execution. Create and manage project schedules with clear dependencies, critical path, and systematic methodology to communicate status. Proactively identify and manage risks, close gaps, and adapt projects in an agile manner. Keep teams on the critical path, minimizing distractions. Provide clear, timely, and objective communication, including regular program status updates and reviews for the executive team. Monitor potential gaps across dependency teams and promote regular communication on a common source of truth. Ensure alignment across stakeholder teams when new factors arise. Plan yearly and quarterly budgets for data acquisition. Maintain awareness of privacy and legal aspects of data management and regional regulations, ensuring compliance. Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience in program management, especially in data acquisition for ML technologies. Strong understanding of machine learning concepts, evaluation, and release management processes. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Skill in negotiating and translating technical requirements into platform roadmaps. Experience leading security and privacy initiatives, collaborating with Legal, Privacy Engineering, Security teams. Excellent project management skills, managing multiple work streams. Ability to work collaboratively across the organization. Ability to draft and present deliverables and strategies independently. Bachelor's or Master's degree in EE/CS/CE or related fields. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in search, speech recognition, natural language understanding, data pipelines. International locale experience. Note: The salary range for this role is $154,600 to $274,900, depending on skills and experience. Apple offers comprehensive benefits, stock programs, and educational reimbursements.
