Overview
We are looking for a dynamic Hotel Front Desk Agent / Auditor to serve as our guests' first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation. Hotel Front Desk Agent / Auditor responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations, and providing information about rooms, rates, and amenities. If you have a knack for customer service and have work experience in the hotel industry, we'd like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests.

We need a Front Desk Agent/Auditor who can work any shift asked of them, which includes:
nSunday - Saturday
n- n
- 7am-3pm n
- 3pm-11pm n
- 11pm - 7am (sometimes) n
Responsibilities
n- n
- Perform all check-in and check-out tasks n
- Manage online and phone reservations n
- Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data n
- Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay) n
- Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms n
- Maintains customers' privacy n
- Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities n
- Respond to clients' complaints in a timely and professional manner n
- Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and fully-furnished to accommodate guests' needs n
- Knows daily activities and meetings taking place in the hotel. Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate n
- Maintain updated records of bookings and payments n
- Reports any unusual occurrences or requests to the Front Office Manager or General Manager n
- Manages and resolves all guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner n
- Performs other duties as assigned n
- Performs cleaning duties n
Skills
n- n
- Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist or similar role preferred n
- Experience with the hotel reservation software Opera n
- Experience with Gmail, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) n
- Ability to understand and adhere to proper credit card and cash handling policies and procedures. Able to properly secure guest information. n
- Proper telephone etiquette n
- Understanding of how travel planning websites operate, like Expedia, Priceline, Booking and Hotels.com n
- Engaging and Professional Customer Service Attitude n
- Excellent communication and organizational skills toward the public, hotel staff and management n
