As a Hotel Front Desk Supervisor, you will oversee daily front desk operations and lead a team of front desk agents to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction. You will be responsible for managing guest check-ins and check-outs, resolving issues, and maintaining front desk protocols. This leadership role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Job Summary
As a Hotel Front Desk Supervisor, you will oversee daily front desk operations and lead a team of front desk agents to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction. You will be responsible for managing guest check-ins and check-outs, resolving issues, and maintaining front desk protocols. This leadership role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and train front desk staff, ensuring adherence to hotel policies and procedures. Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes, providing a warm and professional first impression. Address and resolve guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and efficient manner. Maintain accurate records of guest registrations, room assignments, and billing. Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times. Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, address issues, and foster teamwork. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest rooms and common areas meet high standards of cleanliness and functionality. Manage room availability and inventory, optimizing occupancy and revenue. Handle cash, credit, and other transactions with accuracy, following all financial policies and procedures. Support the Front Desk Manager in creating staff schedules, performance evaluations, and staff development plans. Demonstrate a commitment to exemplary customer service and promote a positive work environment.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality management is a plus 2+ years of experience in a hotel front desk position, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role Strong knowledge of front desk operations, hotel management software, and point-of-sale systems Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment Proven problem-solving abilities and a guest-centered mindset Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
