We are seeking an exceptional C++ developer to join our team. This role is perfect for a driven and self-starting individual with a strong background in building high-performance, scalable software. You will have the opportunity to work on systems that are critical to our research and live-trading operations. Knowledge of financial markets is nice but not required. You will be expected to be curious and able to learn about the technical aspects of exchange connectivity and trading. Location : NYC Department : Front Office HPC About Us We are a global quantitative hedge fund, developing advanced trading platforms that empower our quantitative researchers and traders. Our front office HPC team is dedicated to designing, building, and enhancing our research and trading platform. Key Responsibilities Core Development : Write efficient, low-latency, high-throughput C++ code that powers our trading tools, including order management, exchange connectivity, and real-time market data systems. Performance Enhancement : Improve the performance and scalability of our trading infrastructure to meet the demands of a fast-paced trading environment. Technical Leadership : Contribute to the design and architecture of complex distributed systems, while collaborating with other developers to ensure the highest quality code. Required Qualifications Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Technical Expertise : Strong understanding of performance observability, data structures, algorithms, and high-performance application design. Knowledge of Linux and Linux performance monitoring is a strong plus. Soft Skills : Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
