Austin, Texas – Hybrid: Locals Only Overview: We’re seeking an experienced .NET Software Developer to support a high-impact mobile modernization project. The ideal candidate will lead the transition of an existing mobile app built on Xamarin to the newer .NET MAUI framework. This is a hybrid role with on-site presence in Austin required. What you will be doing: Leading the migration of the TXMAP codebase from Xamarin to .NET MAUI
Ensuring the ongoing functionality and performance of Android and iOS mobile apps
Collaborating with internal stakeholders, development teams, and project managers
Utilizing Microsoft Visual Studio and .NET technologies in a mobile-first environment
Working with JIRA and other Atlassian tools to track progress and resolve issues
What you must have: 8+ years of experience with the .NET platform and Microsoft Visual Studio
1+ year of hands-on mobile development experience for both Android and iOS
Preferred: Experience migrating mobile apps from Xamarin to .NET MAUI
Familiarity with the Atlassian Tool Suite (primarily JIRA)
Bonus: Experience working on State of Texas applications or within government environments
