Duties and Responsibilities :
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and social needs to develop individualized treatment plans.
Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients' functional abilities and quality of life.
Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, physicians, and other therapists, to coordinate patient care.
Educate patients and their families about treatment options, exercises, and adaptive techniques for daily living.
Maintain accurate records of patient care and treatment in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Stay informed about the latest research and developments in therapy practices.
Compensation and Schedule
Status :
Full Time Every Other Weekend
Skills and Qualifications :
A degree / certification in Therapy from an accredited program.
Valid state licensure or certification as required by local regulations.
Experience as a Director of Rehabilitation (PT / PTA / OT / OTA / SLP) in critical care or managed care settings is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong office management skills to assist with administrative tasks related to patient care.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
