A Fortune 500 company specializing in advancing manufacturing solutions for the semiconductor and display industry is looking for two experienced Solution Architects to lead the design and implementation of scalable, cost-effective, and innovative solutions for a high-impact project in Santa Clara, California . This is a 100% onsite role , ideal for a hands-on architect with a strong background in enterprise systems, cloud technologies, and cross-functional collaboration. The architect will play a pivotal role in aligning technical solutions with business goals, driving system integration, and ensuring delivery excellence.
Responsibilities
Lead the architecture and design of innovative, cost-effective, and scalable solutions aligned with business goals. Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to define technical requirements and solution blueprints. Evaluate and recommend technology stacks, tools, and platforms for enterprise-scale implementations. Guide cross-functional teams through the implementation lifecycle, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and project timelines. Conduct technical reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and compliance with security and regulatory standards. Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the project lifecycle. Drive continuous improvement by proposing enhancements to existing systems and contributing to reusable components and best practices. Stay current with emerging technologies and trends to inform architectural decisions. Support Agile delivery by participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and technical prioritization. Provide mentorship and leadership to engineering teams and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

Strong understanding of architectural design patterns (SOA, microservices, event-driven, cloud-native) Proficiency in multiple programming languages (Java, C#, Python, JavaScript) Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) Experience with enterprise application integration (EAI), data management, and security protocols Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and presentation abilities Leadership, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines Customer-focused mindset with a strong understanding of business goals
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (Masters degree is a plus) 12+ years of experience in software development 23 years in a solution architect or similar technical leadership role Proven experience designing and delivering large-scale enterprise solutions MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) experience is a plus Experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus Preferred certifications: TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $71.00/hr.
