Overview This role will provide a broad range of administrative support services to the AVP, Recruitment and Staffing. Responsibilities include HR transactions and administrative support. This position will interpret medical center HR policies and union contract provisions to ensure that the assigned division's human resources operations are consistently applied and high-level HR outcomes are achieved. Performs related duties as required.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the new hire process for executive hires.
- Prioritize assignments and organize administrative functions to ensure effective office operations.
- Responsible for performing secretarial and administrative duties for AVP, HR Recruitment and Staffing and administrative team as assigned.
- Perform routine clerical duties including maintaining files and policy manuals, preparing bills, purchase requisitions, maintaining records, providing phone coverage and Kronos timekeeping.
- Maintain the calendar and schedule of appointments for AVP.
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and equipment.
- Responsible for contacting office equipment vendors concerning routine maintenance and repairs.
- Responsible for expanding social media presence in recruitment including creating content, managing social media posts, increasing overall brand awareness for recruitment purposes, and creating a positive online image for the department and organization.
- Will perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
- High School Diploma required.
- 1-3 years experience in resources administration or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Must be proficient with data entry and have excellent writing skills.
- Word, Excel, and PP skills preferred.
- Prior experience providing executive administrative support preferred.
- Prior experience with social media a plus.
- Customer and Personal Service Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
