High-Growth, Sustainable Ecommerce | Are you a curious, impact-driven analyst ready to take full ownership of analytics in a fast-growing U.S. business? Want to join a mission-led company promoting sustainability through the circular economy? We’re working with a global ecommerce brand that’s quietly become one of the world’s biggest sellers of used books. Recently backed by private equity, they’re doubling down on their direct-to-consumer business and investing in data-led growth across both the UK and U.S. They’ve acquired a U.S. business focused on textbook reselling — and now need a strong Data Analyst to join the team in Montgomery, Illinois. You’ll work closely with global teams but operate as the key data voice on the ground in North America, helping shape strategic decisions across Trade, Supply, and Operations. The Role Using data and analytics to inform and optimize commercial and operations focused business decisions End-to-end analytics ownership: from scoping, data extraction, and analysis to insight delivery Collaborate with stakeholders across time zones — including Product, Ops, and Finance Build dashboards (Tableau/PowerBI), own KPIs, and conduct deep-dive investigations Projects might include: optimizing warehouse logistics, boosting average selling price, or identifying growth opportunities ️ Tech Stack SQL (BigQuery/GCP) – must-have Tableau (or similar) Python or R – strongly preferred GCP You’ll Need 3–5 years’ experience in data/business analytics Great SQL and dashboarding skills Python or R preferred Experience cleaning and transforming messy datasets Expereince driving business decisions or strategy from data-driven insights Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills A commercial, hands-on mindset — able to thrive in fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environments Package Up to $120,000 base + 10% bonus Healthcare + PTO Hybrid working: 2+ days/week onsite in Montgomery, IL
